AncestryDNA — How to download your raw DNA

Request AncestryDNA raw data, complete its email confirmation and identify the separate allele1 and allele2 columns.

Sign in at ancestry.com.

Go to DNA → Your DNA Results Summary.

Click Settings (top right of the page).

Scroll to Actions → Download Raw DNA Data → Start.

Enter your password to confirm. Ancestry will send you an email to confirm the request.

Open the email and click the confirmation link. You'll receive a second email with the download when ready (up to 24 hours, usually faster).

Download the .zip file from the second email and upload it here — our uploader extracts it automatically.
